Ngā ata — the images, factual actual

These images are handmade by Chris Winitana — not AI-made. The carved figures are real carvings — some stand as tall as five metres — photographed by him on digital camera, alongside ~40,000 nature frames shot big-time micro and macro. The photographs were then married together in Photoshop: carving to ocean, figure to wave, light to water. What you see here is the end result.

There are ~1,000 works like these ready to go in high resolution, and around 200 of them carry Chris's ahorangi words — a sentiment storied right into the image. These ten ride the lounge at lounge-grade weight; the high-res masters sit in the vault.
